USB dual-slot
CompactFlash/SmartMedia reader is the smart device for people who use a digital
camera, PDA, Handheld PC, Palm size PC, Voice recorder, MP3 or Cellular phone.
The reader can do data storage and exchange among these electronic devices.
Currently most images downloaded from digital camera to computer are through
RS232 interface. However, the disadvantages are slow transfer and wasted camera
battery life. The reader offers a much easier and faster way to download images
from a digital camera to your computer. The card reader becomes more important
as the digital camera's resolution gets higher. DataFab has a full range of
Parallel/USB flash card readers for CompactFlash/SmartMedia/PC cards. In
addition, CompactFlash/SmartMedia Type II PCMCIA adapters are also available.
